There are lots of items around the house that can be repurposed and made into something more useful. Take bits of old candles, that are too short or tatty to use again - they can be melted down and given new life. And how about a cute way of making use of collections of tea cups and other vintage china. Here's a few ideas.
Take bits of used candles and melt down in a double boiler. Be careful, it's hot and messy.
Prepare your pieces of china with a store bought wick by hanging off a bamboo stick
so that the metal disk sits on the bottom and the wick is nice and straight.
You can use anything that withstand the heat of the molten wax.
At least now they can be seen and appreciated.
